Aside from the obvious thumbs, knuckles, elbows, and forearms, there are a few other tools of the trade I like to incorporate into your session. They each have benefits that may enhance your massage and are generally safe for most clients. There are some contraindications so let's have a conversation.
I love to use organic flax seed eye pillows to help you reach that ultimate state of relaxation during your massage. Available in rosemary lavender or eucalyptus peppermint.
Love them? Text me and I can have one ready for you to pick up today.
Hot Towels gently warm your skin, soothe achy muscles/joints, and aid in helping muscles release during your treatment. And they're a pretty awesome finishing touch at the end of your session, too!
I use high-quality oils and creams that simultaneously nourish & moisturize your skin while offering superb glide without leaving you feeling greasy. Be sure to let me know if you have any skin sensitivities.
I use only natural basalt stones (never synthetic) heated up to 140°F. This massage is deeply relaxing while also quieter effective at releasing muscle tension and providing temporary relief from chronic pain.
Silicone “cups” are applied to your skin with a suction pressure that draws your skin up to break down restrictions in that specific area. I use these cups in three ways:
Static cupping, the cup is briefly applied to an area and left in place.
Dynamic cupping is used with oil or cream to allow the cup(s) to move across your skin.
Cupping with Movement puts your muscles into action. A cup is positioned onto a specific area while your muscle moves through its action/motion, helping to improve blood flow and healing.
Essential oils are natural oils obtained through a distilling process. While there are many healing benefits that come from using essential oils, there are some contraindications. Be sure to discuss conditions/medications at the time of your massage.
